Shot as a series of Prom photos for KA. Shot at Waverly Inn, in Halifax, NS. The staff was nice enough to let me move things around and set up my gear. This shot had some minor clone work, only to the wall in the reflection... i removed 2 plug outlets to make this feel more authentic period.

It is belived that Oscar Wilde's Spirit still likes to visit the Waverly Inn from time to time..... as he was a guest in life, he may very well be in afterlife.

A very wonderful yet simple photo!


First off congrats on the very beautiful dress and corset the model's wearing. It compliments the dark green fire place.

the model's pose is very natural not a typical "OK SMILE AT ME!" picture.


The lighting is nice as well but the picture could be a little darker?

The corset*omg* i fell in love!


I love the patterns on the corset! who ever made it is very good!


Also, great that there is no light relection or glares on that mirror!


Your efforts were not in vain!

All in all a great professional photo!

thats her prom dress?! ugh much envy...i wasn't allowed a gothic gown for prom....stupid boys........grrrr okay okay sorry for the rant! :giggle:
