Hi there,

I'm kind of a newb, so at times hesitant to offer critique, but I like this photo and maybe commenting helps me learn in the process.

Nice and effective view of your subject here. I've seen her in a number of other sets (I assisted Mike McCarthy for her session in the "Boxed In" series) and she always produces great expressions - very cool! Whether it's your direction or her posing in this shot (or both) it works really well. Nice geometric balance of her arms and the "looking up " eyes seem to balance the open space to the left of the photo.

I alos think the lighting you've employes has a nice soft quality, combined with the skin tones/smoothness. That's an area I am working on and always good to see examples.

The fuchsia parts of the garment front and centre grab the eye and make the shot, so all around this is a cool picture. Not normally a fan of big logos but yours balances nicely on the negative space here, so it kind of works.

Let me know if I've missed the point on anything - like I say, I'm still learning...

regards,
Rory
